Johnny Cueto takes the mound tonight with the Reds 3 games under .500. They are 6 games back of the Brewers and 2.5 back of the Cardinals in the Central. I have questions, in no particular order.
-If Cueto is the best pitcher in the game (as he said last week) can he sustain it for the rest of the season? How many wins will that mean?
-Is Joey Votto ever going to be Joey Votto again?
-Billy Hamilton is a good center fielder destined to be great. Will he be a good leadoff hitter this year?
-Are you glad Brandon Phillips didn't get traded in the offseason?
-Even with Devin Mesoraco hitting .500, is Brayan Pena the MVP because of what he brings to the pitching staff/clubhouse?
-Mat Latos isn't a fast starter. If he starts in June, how long before he finds his groove?
-When Jay Bruce returns (any day now) should Chris Heisey play more left field?
-Should we worry about Homer Bailey?
-Is Bryan Price the change in leadership the Reds needed after Dusty?
-Few teams have been as devastated by injuries as the Reds. Do they recover?
-When everyone's back, what's the best batting order?
I rarely have answers to my questions. Do you?
