Andy Dalton is looking as sharp as any QB in the NFL over the past three weeks. During that stretch he has thrown 11 TD passes, with more than 1,000 yards, a completion percentage in the high 60s, with only 2 interceptions.
We've been saying it since training camp began; that this team had all the pieces in place to make a run, and now just needed the QB to play at a championship-caliber level. Consider it done, as Dalton has his team riding a 4-game winning streak with a record of 6-2 overall.
The Bengals are also threatening to run away with the AFC North, as their lead over the Ravens is now at 2 and a half games, with Cleveland and Pittsburgh bringing up the rear.
Short week for the Bengals, as they will play in Miami on Halloween night And they have several injury situations to sift through, as Andrew Whitworth, Ray Maualuga, Taylor Mays and Mohamed Sanu all left Sundays win with injuries. Maualuga was also concussed, so his chance of seeing the field on Thursday is contingent on passing the leagues mandatory concussion tests.
