Gooey, cheesy and full of crisp bacon, Bacon Cheese Pull Apart Bread recipe is a simple and versatile recipe. It makes a fun brunch, it's convenient for tailgating and it's a favorite of kids for an afternoon snack!


4-5 cups of Klosterman bread or left over buns, cubed

4 tablespoon butter, melted

6 strips bacon, cooked crisp

6-ounce cheddar cheese, cut into chunks or shredded

3 eggs

1/3 cup milk

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon Onion Powder

1/2 teaspoon Cr. Red Chili Flakes (optional)

1/2 teaspoon Sriracha (optional)

*serve with honey or agave nectar if desired


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Spray a 5x9 inch pan with non-stick spray.

3. in a medium to large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and seasonings through the hot sauce

4. Place half of the cubed bread into prepared pan

5. Sprinkle a layer of cheese and bacon over bread

6. Top first layer with remaining bread cubes

7. Sprinkle a layer of cheese and bacon over biscuits.

8. Pour egg mixture over layers of bread, cheese & bacon

9. Sprinkle cheese on top

10. Bake in 350 degree oven 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife or toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean

11. Remove from oven and let pull apart bread cool in pan until the pan is cool to touch. Loosen bread from pan by running a knife around edges. Flip bread out of pan onto a cutting board or serving dish. Pull apart or cut loaf into medium to large pieces and server immediately with warm honey or agave nectar if desired.
