NASA Testing Rockets Made With 3D Printers

Updated: Wednesday, September 18 2013, 10:33 AM EDT

made with a 3-d printer. NASA is already testing a thruster manufactured
by the technology. The new part can withstand six-thousand degrees of
heat. While many 3-d printers use plastic, NASA 3-d printing fuses
powdered steel into solid metal.NASA Testing Rockets Made With 3D Printers
