One of the distinctive characteristics of modern societies is the
commitment to planning. Whether it is a global corporation, an
entrepreneur, or a public body, comprehensive planning is essential.

Planning is the best way to be intentional, to try to channel the economic and social forces that are at work a any one time, rather than to be buffeted about.

Kenton
County is in the midst of developing a new comprehensive plan, its
first since 1972, Entitled Direction 2030, your voice your choice. The
process has been underway for months and next Thursday night, the
statement of goals and objectives will be presented publicly.

Dan
Hurley was joined by Sharmili Reddy, the planning manager of the
Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission and Diane Brown, a member of the planning task force.

Later in the snow, the new artistic director of the Cincinnati Children's Theater also sat down to talk with Dan.
