FORT THOMAS, Ky. (WKRC) - There's new advice from experts at St. Elizabeth Healthcare on what to eat to have healthy bones.
Local 12 spent part of Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Fort Thomas doing a Facebook Live with the women's health team.
Dietitian Sheri Kanarek had advice on what foods you should eat to improve bone density:
- Milk
- Yogurt
- Leafy greens like spinach and broccoli
- Dried beans
- White beans
- Almonds
These are foods that are high in calcium. The team also addressed the use of supplements and bone density tests in the Facebook Live:
