Health Alert: Eating Rituals Good for Health

Updated: Thursday, December 19 2013, 05:27 PM EST
MONTGOMERY, Ohio (Liz Bonis) -- If you have a few food rituals before you eat a new study says that might be a good thing.

This study found those who have "food rituals"are actually enjoying food more than those who don't.

Researchers in Psychological Science found that those who have little things they do, such as eat cookies from the outside in, tend to be more satisfied and often eat less.  They also enjoy the whole dining experience more.

Now these "food rituals" can be anything from eating the apple all around or peeling an orange a certain way; but either way don't worry about if you lay our your candy before you eat it.  You are enjoying the dining experience! Health Alert: Eating Rituals Good for Health
