Health Alert: Foods to Fight Inflammation Help Mood

CINCINNATI (Liz Bonis) -- Quite often we buy all kinds of skin products and get our hair done to help us feel better, but this new study found women may also want to add a few foods to the diet to feel better.

We stopped out at the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center in Norwood to tell you more about it.  Researchers found there's a connection between inflammation, feeling bad and depression.

This study found those who reduced foods linked to inflammation were able to feel better.  It suggested that we reduce mainly processed foods, red meat, and high sugar drinks.

It is suggested we instead try for more whole foods and fruits and vegetables to bring down a level in the blood linked to inflammation called CRP.  We want CRP under three.  We know that it helps your heart, it may help prevent cancer, and now we know it also helps you feel better about yourself!Health Alert: Foods to Fight Inflammation Help Mood
