Health Alert: High Heels

Updated: Monday, March 3 2014, 04:45 PM EST
CINCINNATI (Liz Bonis) -- We all have a love-hate relationship with our heels, we like how they look and don't like how they feel.

We stopped out at Children's Hospital with our friends Autumn and her mom, Christina, to tell you more about a report in the International Journal of Biomedical Engineering.  Researchers found that you are at higher risk for osteoarthritis in your knees but not if you just wear heels or sit in them.  It may have more to do with walking in them or actually sprinting or running in them.

It's suggested you wear them more if you are sitting and bring some other shoes for if you really have to keep up a fast pace.  They look nice but may not be nice for your knees.
