Boy skips school for baseball game, is seen by principal
CHICAGO (WKRC) - Things did not go according to plan for a boy who skipped school to go to a baseball game.
According to CNN, fourth-grader Tucker Speckman attended a Cubs game instead of class on April 10. He even made a sign reading:
Skipping School...SHH! Don't Tell Principal Versluis
As it turns out, Speckman's principal, Patrick Versluis, took the day off also to attend the Cubs game.
The two saw each other, but Speckman's not in trouble. The two laughed at the coincidence and even posed for a picture together:
