LYNDHURST, Ohio (KUTV) - A gust of wind swept an Ohio girl off her doorstep and it was all caught on a home security camera.

"All I hear is 'mommm!' So I looked back and she's pinned between the house and the glass door. She is okay and laughing along with it!" wrote Ohio mother Brittany Gardner.

Gardner said her 4-year-old daughter, Madison, who had just gotten home from school on Wednesday evening, walked from the car toward the house when she got swept away off the steps.

"It all happened so fast," Gardner told KUTV in an interview. "I just saw her out the corner of my eye flying horizontally so I ran and she screamed 'mom!'"

Gardner, who lives in a suburb just east of Cleveland, said her preschool-aged daughter clung onto the metal door handle with one hand, while the other hand clutched her mom's cell phone. Gardner was still getting things out of the car and dropped everything to run get her daughter as soon as she saw what was happening.

"I had to pry her off of the door and bring her inside," Gardner said estimating that Madison had to hold on for about five solid seconds before getting rescued.

Initially, her daughter was pretty shaken by the whole ordeal, but after Madison saw the home security footage she began laughing hysterically and asked if she could fly now.

Gardner paired the video with Frank Sinatra's famous "Come Fly With Me" music and posted it to her Facebook page. It has already been viewed more than 27,000 times as of Thursday afternoon.

"It's insane!" Gardner says about the reaction she has already received. "I didn't think it would blow up the way it has, I only thought local family and friends would see it. I have people from across the country telling me about it"

After watching the video, there is not doubt about it -- little Madison is pretty strong. She didn't let go of the door or drop the iPhone. Thanks to Gardner, we now know the secret to her daughter's strength.

"She does pull ups a lot, shockingly! But it paid off!"
