The Cincinnati Auto Show is underway, offering a chance to see the latest in the automotive world. We do love our cars and trucks in this country, and we buy millions of them every year. 

What was the total number of new vehicle sales in 2013 in the United States?
1. 11.4 million
2. 13.5 million
3. 15.6 million



The answer is: 3. 15.6 million

According to an Associated Press article printed on the website of the New York Daily News, auto manufacturers were poised for their best sales year in six years at the end of 2013.  The article says analysts expected vehicle sales to be up 8 percent to 15.6 million in 2013. The Ford F-Series pickup kept its title as best selling vehicle in the country.  According to the website autonews.com, Ford sold more than 760-thousand of the big pickups. Also, the Toyota Camry held onto its title of the nation's best selling car for the 12th year in a row. The Camry was third overall, behind the pickups, the Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado.
