On this day in history:

1898- Hawaii was annexed from the Republic of Hawaii to the United States.

1908- The first production Model T Ford was built.  The Model T would not leave the factory until September of that year.  Learn more about Henry Ford and his Model T HERE.

1955- On this day US President Dwight Eisenhower raised minimum wage from $.75 to $1 per hour.
