Duck Dynasty patriarch reveals editor censorship, both fake and real
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- In an interview shot earlier this year, but recently coming to light, Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson revealed some behind the scenes information that is making many fans upset.
In the interview Robertson alleges the editors of the show have, in past seasons, inserted fake 'bleeps' to insinuate the use of profanity, when none was used. After a sit down with producers, the practice stopped.
The other point Robertson makes in the interview is the urging of the family not to use the words "In Jesus' name" after they pray because it could, "offend Muslim viewers."
The show has a large fan base, some who tune in for the comedy that surrounds the inner workings of the family business of making duck calls. But the majority tune in for the family-friendly entertainment with a Christian message.
