GPS Tracking: Keeping Your Kids Safe
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Ted Garcia/KABB) -- It could change the game when it comes to finding missing children.
AT&T has released its new Amber Alert GPS.
The 1.5 ounce device can be placed in a backpack or a child's pocket.
It has an SOS button -- once it's pushed, the device can connect with a loved one's cell phone.
The device also leaves "breadcrumbs" -- which can show you where your child is every 15 minutes.
The Amber Alert also has a special setting for sexual predators -- it can tell you if your children are within 500 feet of the home of a registered sex offender.
