Kentucky All-State Choir sings 18-story high national anthem
CINCINNATI (Derek Drake) -- Patriotism, talent and acoustics are lending greatly to this video's virality.
On the eve of the opening ceremonies of the Sochi Olympics, the men and women of the Kentucky State Choir conference treated many at the downtown Louisville Hyatt to a wonderful rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner."
A guest of the hotel captured this video, even though her fear of heights kept her from getting too close to the balcony edge, there are 18 floors filled with hundreds high school choir students singing in perfect harmony.
And although it was the eve of the Olympics, the choir does this every year as a tradition. Hearing the sound and acoustics in the hotel, one can see why.
