Man sailing around the world in amphibious car
TALLIN, Estonia (CBS) -- Mechanical engineer Mait Nilson transformed his Toyota Land Cruiser into an "Amphibear" to travel on land and sea. The car took seven years to build and will take him on a 37,000-mile journey around the world.
"Amphibear" can cover 120 nautical miles in a day in ideal conditions. The car has a portable toilet. A stove is built into the back door.
Nilson will be joined by several co-pilots on different legs of the journey that he estimates will take 9 months.
