Ohio man arrested for operating a wheelchair under the influence
BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Tom Bosco/WSYX) -- A Delaware County man was due in court Wednesday morning after deputies cited him for operating a motorized wheelchair under the influence.
Deputies found 44-year-old Donald Law of Berlin Township on Burlin Station Road about a mile from his home at approximately 10:30 p.m. He was operating the wheelchair without reflectors or lights.
When reached by phone Law said he had been to a party at a friends house. He called the incident "no big deal."
Law faces a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
