QUICK BURSTS OF SNOW EARLY FRIDAY MORNING

Quick bursts of snow are possible early this Friday morning which will reduce visibilities and make roads slick rather quickly. Some of these could put down a quick dusting or covering of snow and will be most concentrated to the east of downtown Cincinnati. Please use caution if traveling through these snow bursts this morning.

1870- The 15th Amendment of the US Constitution is ratified guaranteeing voting rights to citizens regardless of race.

1913- The 16th Amendment of the US Constitution is ratified.  The amendment authorizes the power to impose and collect tax.

1972- The first Winter Olympics in Asia are held at Sapporo, Japan.
