Texas police officer caught on camera playing catch with young boy

ROSENBURG, Texas (WKRC) -- Rosenburg Police released this dash-cam footage of on of their officers stopping to play a quick game of catch with a young boy.

The officer was driving through on his normal patrol when he saw the young man flipping a football in the air by himself.

The boy crosses the street after the officer stops his car, and disappears out of frame for a second. The next thing you see is the boy running away from the officer, looking in the air as a football arcs into his open arms.

The game of catch only lasted a few minutes before the officer said goodbye to continue his patrol.

Rosenberg Police officials posted the video to their social media accounts saying, "While a 2 minute game of football might not mean anything, to some it could mean everything! #ReachThemBeforeTheWolvesDo."
