Thursday Afternoon Update
Good afternoon! Temperatures are warming into the mid 50s and will settle right around 60 this afternoon. Lots of daytime sunshine and a light breeze should make for a cool, but comfortable afternoon. Keep the jacket handy and enjoy the blue skies, for a change!
Clouds will start heading our way late this afternoon and through the overnight. That will keep temperatures in the low and mid 40s for overnight lows. Some of the clouds moving in from the west may make the partial solar eclipse a bit tougher to see, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Friday should be partly cloudy and a bit warmer.
Temperatures this weekend will stay about seasonal averages as well; it will be near 70 degrees. A sprinkle isn't out of the question on Saturday, but I think most of us will be dry until late Tuesday. Enjoy more sun on Sunday before temperatures crank into the mid 70s for the early part of next week. Rain and potentially thunderstorms will move in late Tuesday with cold front that will bring cooler weather for the end of next week.
