How Long You Live May Be Influenced by Where You Live in Cincinnati

Updated: Tuesday, November 26 2013, 12:30 PM EST
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- How long you live could depend on where you live in the city of Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Health department released the findings of a new study today.

The report breaks down for the first time, the life expectancy of each of Cincinnati's 52 neighborhoods. The lighter the color on the map, the longer the life expectancy for that particular neighborhood. The average Cincinnatian lives about 76 years, which is two years less than the American average. South Fairmount neighbors are at the bottom of the list with a life expectancy of 66 years. People living Mt. Lookout or Columbia Tusculum have the longest average at nearly 88 years.
