Updated: Monday, November 25 2013, 10:48 AM EST
HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- A Butler County judge allows the parents of a toddler found wandering alone, to leave jail without posting bond.

Nicholas and Elizabeth Latta face five counts of child endangering. The 23-month-old daughter of Nicholas was found alone in an alley on Dayton Street on November 19. She was in wet pajamas with no shoes.

When police went to the Lattas' home, they found no electricity, running water or much food where four other children' were also living. Because of the lack of water, the toilet and a bucket were full of feces. Animal feces was on the floor. The couple was asleep when the little girl was found.

All five children are in the care of Butler County Children Services.
