UC to play last game at Nippert before renovations

Updated: Thursday, December 5 2013, 08:44 AM EST
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The University of Cincinnati calls for a blackout during its football game against Louisville Thursday night.

The game is sold out. It's the last game at Nippert Stadium before renovations begin later this month. The $86 million upgrade will increase stadium capacity to 40,000 seats. UC will play at Paul Brown Stadium next year.

Not only is this game for the Keg of Nails trophy, if UC wins and and UCF loses Saturday, there is a chance UC could play in a BCS bowl game.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.
