Walk raises money for cure for genetic disorder
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Angelman syndrome is caused by the loss of function of a particular gene during fetal development, causing severe neurological impairment that lasts for a lifetime.
Saturday, May 19, groups across the country will join together and walk to for a cure.
Penny and Madonna Jusko joined Local 12 Wednesday to tell us more about the walk.
The Angelman Walk begins at 10 a.m. at Theodore M. Barry International Friendship Park.
