13-year-old accused of killing grandfather found competent to stand trial
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The 13-year-old accused of killing his grandfather was found competent to stand trial Monday.
Alex Agenbroad is charged with the murder of Fowler Agenbroad.
Police found the 80-year-old unresponsive and with a head injury in his Mt. Airy home in August. He later died. A neighbor who called 911 says a fight broke out between the grandfather and the teen.
Monday, the prosecutor described evidence that suggests the teen might have broken his grandfather's neck by ramming his head into a wall.
Fowler Agenbroad cared for Alex after his parents both died of drug overdoses.
The case returns to court April 3.
