Avondale's Boys & Girls Club introduces new Teen Center
AVONDALE, Ohio (WKRC) - Some teenagers in Cincinnati have a nice, new place to call their own, and their surprised faces say it all.
Teen members of the US Bank Boys and Girls Club in Avondale now have a space all for themselves.
Aaron's Furniture partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of America to renovate clubs across the country. The one in Avondale is their 20th one.
The teenagers helped design the space and associates from Aaron's took over from there.

"We worked so hard to get this. We had to do a lot to get this, so it means a lot to us," said 16-year-old Kendal Neal.
"To have a dedicated space for just the teens means a lot because they don't want to be in the room with the little kids or around the little kids, so to have a room dedicated for them that has the things that they're interested in, it really, really helps out a lot," said director, Valarie Pollard.
The Teen Center is now equipped with new technology, sectional sofas, tables and chairs and a new sound system.
