BLINK makes big impact on local businesses
CINCINNATI (WKRC) – On the final day of BLINK, the crowds were just as big as previous nights.
For a fourth night the streets of downtown Cincinnati, The Banks and Over-The-Rhine were full of people watching in awe the creations of BLINK.
And as hundreds of thousands spend a day or some in cases the entire weekend watching the show, they’ll spend some money.
“It's been the absolute best business we've done. It seems to pick up around 5:30 and it doesn't stop, ever, until we stop it. the business has been awesome,” said Seth Barnes, the GM of Harvest Pizzeria.
The pizzeria has only been open for a couple of months and saw record business during BLINK. As did the restaurant across the street, The French Crust Café and Bistro.
"The week before this week we did really well and this week, obviously an exceptional week,” said Barnes.
BLINK officials are expected to release attendance numbers this week.
