Cincinnati Works hosts a job fair
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A job fair took place Wednesday, October 19, to help lift people in our community from poverty.
Cincinnati Works hosted the job fair at the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority on Western Avenue but it was open to the public. At least 18 employers were there looking to hire, including Fifth Third Bank, Children's Hospital, Kroger and Jack Casino.
Cincinnati Works says it's a local nonprofit organization that goes beyond linking people in poverty and employers by providing its non-paying clients ongoing support services. The organization hosts a couple of job fairs throughout the year.
