CPD confiscates over 100 firearms, 100g of cocaine in drug trafficking arrest
CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Cincinnati Police have announced that they have made a “major arrest” after the confiscation of over 100 firearms, 100 grams of cocaine, five pounds of marijuana, digital scales and $30,000 in US currency.
30-year-old Alexey Gibson was arrested at 205 West McMillan Avenue on February 1 for Felony Drug Trafficking, CCW and Improper Transport of Firearms in a vehicle.
During the arrest and search of Gibson’s vehicle, police discovered 10 firearms along with the drugs and cash.
Police then executed a search warrant in Butler County with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office BURN Unit (Butler Undercover Regional Narcotics). They recovered over 100 additional firearms, various ammunition and ballistic vests as a result of that search.
Gibson is being held on a $650,000 bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
