Man in custody after house fire in Covington, arson suspected
COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - Fire crews battled a house fire on Bankllick Street in Covington on Tuesday night.
Police were called to the area for reports of a man with a gun, but then fire crews were called in after the fire started.
The house is reportedly near the intersection of Banklick Street and W 14th Street.
The man who lived at the residence is in police custody.
The fire is being investigated as a possible arson per the chief of the Covington Fire Department.
No one was injured, but a neighboring house was damaged by smoke.
