Driver who caused crash that killed local priest pleads guilty

Driver Jeffrey Higgins caused the crash that killed Father Chris Coleman in Wyoming (WKRC)

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A driver, who caused a crash that killed a local priest, pleaded guilty to a charge of vehicular homicide on Sept. 13. Jeffrey Higgins will be sentenced in October for the crash that killed Father Chris Coleman.

Higgins was driving on Mt. Pleasant Avenue when he lost control, sending his car off the road and into a guardrail. The car rolled over onto its top. landing on the Wyoming Country Club golf course. Coleman was killed.

Higgins wasn't hurt.

Father Coleman, 50, served in parishes in Wyoming, Greenhills and Forest Park.
