FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WKRC) - A toddler has died two weeks after he was found face down in a pool at his Fairfield home. The Hamilton County coroner's office has identified him as William Fugate, 2.

Fairfield Police say the toddler was playing in the backyard before he was found on August 13 at the home on Crestview Drive. He was not breathing when an ambulance arrived.

Crews were able to resuscitate William but he began having seizures at Children's Hospital. William was put in a medically induced coma.

He was then brought out of the coma to see how he was doing. The family decided to take him off of life support on August 26.

The Butler County prosecutor said no charges will be filed.
