FBI offering up to $10K reward for info on local bank robbery suspect (WKRC)

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that will lead to the arrest of a suspected bank robber.

The FBI is looking for 20-year-old Malcolm Lorenzo Jones, who is a 6'0" black man with black hair, brown eyes and weighs 154-160 lbs. The FBI says that he may have traveled to Chicago, Illinois.

The Key Bank on Springdale Road was robbed on May 22, 2017. The FBI says that Jones allegedly entered the bank, raised a handgun in the air and ordered people to get onto the floor.

The FBI says that Jones then allegedly demanded money from the bank teller.

While waiting for the money, Jones allegedly walked bank to the entrance of the bank and let in his accomplice and, unknowingly, an off-duty police officer, according to the FBI.

The officer then reportedly engaged the suspects and displayed a firearm. A shoot out ensued. The FBI says that's when Jones and his accomplice fled on foot. The accomplice was later arrested.
