Former circus clown turned brew master opens unique business in Ludlow
LUDLOW, Ky. (WKRC) - A former circus clown turned brew-master has opened a unique business in Ludlow.
Cold beer served up with a side of fun is now available at the “Bircus Brewing Company.”
Performers will juggle, walk on kegs and even breath fire.
Paul Miller says the idea came from a circus friend who did something similar in Belgium.
Seven years ago he bought the old Ludlow theater building.
On Saturday, he realized his dream of opening a brewery.
"Circuses make money selling concessions and our ‘concession’ is beer and with scary clown stuff and circuses going out of business, you know beer isn't going out of business anytime soon,” said Paul Miller, The Bircus Brewing Company Owner
The opening coincided with “Shop Ludlow Day.”
Miller plans to have the old theater marquee restored.
