"Gotti" movie filmed in Cincinnati pulled from distribution schedule
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A movie with an A-list celebrity filmed in the Tri-State has been pulled off the distribution schedule.
Lionsgate is reportedly pulling the John Travolta film "Gotti".
"Gotti" is about former mob boss, John Gotti.
It features stars John Travolta and his real wife Kelly Preston, who plays his wife in the movie.
The film was supposed to be released in just 10 days, but, according to Entertainment Weekly, fans won't get to see it just yet.
The Magazine said the film was sold back to a production company.
There's no word at this point when the film might be released or why it's being held back.
The cast and crew spent weeks filming in the Tri-State over the summer.
Several Cincinnati sites could be seen in the trailer, including an Indian Hill home and a local UDF store.
According to Entertainment Weekly, a 2018 release now seems likely.
