Hamilton County Heroin Coalition summit in Norwood fights back against drug addiction
NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) - The Hamilton County Heroin Coalition held the "From Voice to Action" summit at Norwood High School on Saturday.
The event gave those impacted by the epidemic an opportunity to learn how they can take action.
There were group discussions, storytelling, and advice from experts.
Those who attended learned ways to help loved ones and the community.
"So there's a lot of talking about this issue, but I think people need to do more," said Emily Manning, Program Coordinator for the Hamilton County Heroin Coalition. "So if we as a community can step up and do whatever you can, donating money, putting on events like this in your own community, forming your own coalitions whatever it is you think you're able to do."
