Man accused of running over Kroger employee arrested

A man accused of striking a Kroger employee with his vehicle is due in court Saturday. (HCSO)

OAKLEY, Ohio (WKRC) - A man accused of striking a Kroger employee with his vehicle is due in court Saturday.

David Rohrscheib, 34, is accused of robbing the Oakley Kroger in June. While trying to flee after the theft, police said Rohrscheib struck an employee who was ordering him to stop.

According to an affidavit, Rohrscheib drove in the direction of the employee and struck him with his SUV, knocking the employee to the ground and running over his left foot.

Rohrscheib is facing felonious assault, aggravated robbery and theft charges in relation to the incident.
