Man charged with manslaughter after Covington shooting
COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - A man has died following a shooting in Covington Sunday morning.
Police were called to 39 West 26th Street around 2 a.m. for a report of a person shot. That's where they found 20-year-old Zachary Pouncy suffering from a gunshot wound.
Pouncy was transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Twenty-year-old Dhezon Gray was still at the scene of the shooting and was arrested. He is charged with second-degree manslaughter and is currently in the Kenton County Jail.
Gray is believed to be the only suspect. He will appear in court Monday morning.
Police are still investigating and say no other details will be released at this time.
