Mason's Angela Perkins will compete in finale of Survivor
MASON, Ohio (WKRC) - Angela Perkins, Cincinnati's Survivor, made it to the finals of the show and still has a shot at the million dollars.
On Wednesday night's show, she sat out the first challenge and had trouble building a puzzle piece bridge to get past the first obstacle in the immunity challenge, but no one cast a vote to send the Mason mom home.
Angela celebrated her move to the round of six at a party with friends and family on Wednesday night in Mason.
"I only know up until this point and it's been amazing. Hard to hold back but now everybody knows what I know. I don't know anything else. So the next episode is going to be extremely exciting for all of us," said Perkins.
"It's an amazing experience, she's been one of my best friends for over 20 years. I'm super excited to be here through the entire process with her," said Cheyenne Gasaway, Perkins' best friend of 20 years.
Angela leaves for California next week.
Local 12 will have a full report after the season finale on WKRC at 11 p.m.
