Massage parlor investigation leads to 4 arrests in Anderson Township (WKRC)

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - An extensive investigation into criminal activity led to the raid of various massage parlors located in Anderson Township and the arrest of four females for prostitution and solicitation Wednesday morning, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The Cincinnati Police Department, FBI and the Department of Homeland Security were all involved in the investigation. The four women arrested were 45-year-old Pel Chin, 46-year-old Zhang Cuimin, 49-year-old Chunye Jiao, and 44-year-old Cao Haiyan.

Chin worked at Oriental Massage located at 7117 Salem Road. Cuimin worked at Eden Massage located at 8431 Beechmont Avenue. Jiao worked at Massage located at 6089 Salem Road. Haiyan was an employee at USA Spa located at 1969 Eight Mile Road.

Vigilant neighbors who've been keeping an eye on the places and sharing information with police led to the raids.

Residents who created the Watchful Eyes of Anderson Township and Watchful Eyes of Mount Washington Facebook pages said they started chronicling activity at the places about a year ago and forwarding information to the sheriff's office.

A few weeks ago when the new massage parlor opened up near Salem and Sutton, they complained again to law enforcement.

Township trustees are pleased that action was taken on Wednesday.

"I am shocked, a little bit," said Andrew Pappas. "Anyone would be shocked that here in sleepy little Anderson Township something like this may have happen. Who knows. But I am also pleased that anything that might arouse suspicion we investigate and our sheriff's office does its best to keep us safe."

The investigation is ongoing.
