Motorcyclist killed in Clinton County crash

Police have identified the man killed in a wreck in Chester Township on Saturday evening (WKRC)

CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - Police have identified the man killed in a wreck in Chester Township on Saturday evening.

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. on State Route 380 at Brimstone Road.

Timothy Holiga, 62, from Waynesville, Ohio was on his motorcycle riding northbound when a man in his minivan ran a stop sign and hit him.

Holiga was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County Coroner's Office.

He was not wearing a helmet.

No one in the minivan was injured.

Alcohol or drug use does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The collision remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
