New information about man struck and killed on I-75
KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - Kenton County Police say new information has come to light in the death of a man on I-75 on Friday, February 10. Investigators had thought Brian Wallace, 31, was killed trying to cross the highway after an accident. That was not the case they learned after talking to witnesses.
Police say Wallace was driving south on I-75 on his way to work in Erlanger when he rear-ended a Toyota RAV4. That forced Wallace's Suzuki XL7 to veer sharply toward the right and it hit the guardrail. Wallace was thrown from his vehicle and landed in the lanes of traffic. A tractor-trailer and a minivan then hit him.
Police say Wallace was not wearing his seatbelt. They don't know what let up to him rear-ending the RAV4.
