CINCINNATI (WKRC) - If your bracket is still alive and well, congratulations!

But, if you're like us and altogether busted, that's OK too. We saw lots of ups and downs from our local teams in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

It was a rough night for the Bearcats with the University of Cincinnati falling to third-seeded UCLA, ending a tremendous season.

Also, it was a great year for Northern Kentucky University, which gave the University of Kentucky everything it had before coming up short Friday night.

Factor in losses from Dayton and Louisville and there's not much left for local fans. But how sweet it is to be the Musketeers!

Xavier University marches on, heading to the Sweet 16.

After getting by Maryland and Round 1, XU defeated Florida State University 91-66. And it was a huge game from Trevon Bluiett. He had 29 points. Kaiser Gates also pitched in big-time, hitting some clutch shots.

Xavier head coach Chris Mack talked after the game about how important it is for everyone to step up and do their part this time of year.

Xavier will tip off at 10:09 p.m. Thursday in San Jose against Arizona.
