Coroner identifies pedestrian hit and killed in Fairfield Township

No charges have been filed yet against a driver in a deadly crash early Monday morning in Fairfield Township. (WKRC)

FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – The Butler County coroner has identified a pedestrian killed in Fairfield Township June 19, as Jimmy Morris, Jr., 59.

Morris, who is from Hamilton, was hit near the Walden Pond Golf Course near the intersection of Allison Avenue and State Route 4 at about 5 a.m.

The 83-year-old driver, from Liberty Township, told police he thought he hit something so he returned to the scene. No charges have been filed.
