Pedestrian struck twice and killed in Batavia Township
BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A pedestrian struck by two cars in Batavia Township has died from his injuries. Ohio State Patrol identified him as James Higgins, 32.
Ohio State Patrol troopers say Higgins was walking westbound on Old State Route 32 near Curliss Lane at 10:42 p.m. on Sunday when he was struck by a pickup truck. the impact threw him into the eastbound lanes where he was hit by an SUV.
A medical helicopter flew him to UC Medical Center. He died at the hospital.
No one else was hurt.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
