Planned Parenthood Pink-Out draws supporters and opponents
MT. AUBURN, Ohio (WKRC) -- Planned Parenthood held a Pink-Out day outside its Mt. Auburn location to draw support to the organization, but pro-life supporters are out as well. According to Planned Parenthood's Facebook page, the Pink-Out day is a nationwide rally for reproductive health and rights. "Pink Out, I stand with Planned Parenthood slogan is the slogan that's been used across the country to bring out supporters to clearly demonstrate how much support Planned Parenthood has," says Jerry Lawson of Cincinnati Planned Parenthood. But Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati claims Planned Parenthood takes tax dollars away from what they call legitimate healthcare providers. "Planned Parenthood is not needed for women's health care. There are over 13,000 community health centers that provide non-abortion services in the country as compared to 600 Planned Parenthood facilities," says Paula Westwood.
