Rob Portman visits Cincinnati, helps Habitat for Humanity
PLEASANT RIDGE, Ohio (WKRC) - U.S. senator Rob Portman, who represents Ohio, is in town Saturday.
He'll be joining crews to build a home as part of a Habitat for Humanity project in Pleasant Ridge. It's a tradition he likes to honor on his birthday every year.
Portman has teamed up with Habitat to introduce bipartisan legislation that will ensure Habitat affiliates can continue to received donated appraisals on the homes they build.
