Suspect in woman's murder and second shooting held on $3.1 million bond
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A suspect in a murder and a separate shooting appeared in court Wednesday. Marcus Canada pleaded not guilty to murder, felonious assault and other charges.
Canada is accused of shooting Pamela Hacker, 47, in the chest on Vine Street in February. She died from her injuries.
Police say Canada also shot a man at the Shell gas station on West Mitchell on October 14. According to police Canada and the victim were arguing. Canada got out of the car and shot the victim in the back. He's expected to survive.
In court, the assistant prosecutor said Canada admitted to selling the gun and and getting rid of the clothing from one of the crimes.
A judge set bond at $3.1 million.
