Teen girl missing from Franklin County found alive
UPDATE: Emily Pennington was found alive Saturday morning around 1 a.m.
A search was called off, but volunteers continued to look for her. She was located on the riverbank of the Whitewater River about two miles from her home.
Pennington was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital as a precaution.
METAMORA, Ind. (WKRC) - The Franklin County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing girl from near Metamora.
The department says they were called to a home on Pence Road around 7:30 a.m. Friday to reports of missing 14-year-old, Emily Pennington. She had been dropped off by a school bus around 4 p.m. the day before but hadn't been seen since.
Deputies say Emily is considered endangered missing. Friends and family are also concerned because she is on the Autism spectrum.
Emily is described as being white, about 5-feet-5-inches, with a thin build and long, light brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white button-up shirt and a long-sleeved, black pullover.
